Star Trek legend Leonard Nimoy was rushed to the hospital after severe chest pains, TMZ has reported. He was taken to UCLA Medical Center after a 911 call on February 19.
The 83-year-old suffers from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the name for a collection of lung diseases including chronic bronchitis, emphysema and chronic obstructive airways disease.
Nimoy address his health concerns last year on Twitter.

Paramedics weren’t taking chances with Captain Spock and got him in front of a doctor ASAP. Nimoy’s been in and out of hospitals multiple times in the last few months.
Nimoy has spoken before about his struggle with COPD, which makes it increasingly difficult to breathe.
