Anne Lindup, director of SF Ball Limited said
“Science fiction teaches us to accept others and challenges us to execute a better future for all. We have taken these philosophies and moulded the SF Ball to help many charities and, in particular, the Teenage Cancer Trust for 23 years. We promise a fun-filled 3 days for sci-fi fans, knowing that all the proceeds will go to a vital cause in this country.”
Since 2009, the SF Ball has raised nearly £30,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. SF Ball prides itself on its equal opportunities policy, welcoming anyone to enjoy the festivities indiscriminate of disability or background and an emphasis on fun and socialising, rather than commercial gain. This year’s event is generously sponsored by The Horror Channel, Starburst Magazine and White Light
